hot hot hot

well it's 11:10 and with the heat index it's 96 degrees. i can't believe i'm saying this but i can't wait until winter gets here. speaking of cooler weather, cross season is right around the corner. the ovcx schedule is not and has been for awhile. there are several extra race that are not related to ovcx that will be going on. i was down at the worlds course last week and it is going to need some work over the late summer and early fall. it also looks like there may a race or 2 between the last ovcx race and the worlds.

there are a few mountain bike races still to come including a race at the park rapidly approaching. should be a good one. also coming up iron man louisville and a 24hr dino race.

Gettin up with tha get down

Schellers gettin er done up at the UCI Cincy weekend. I really hate to have to miss all this crap as the conditions for today looked like total slop. Regardless, I'm looking forward to Bloomington next weekend and some hopeful beer hand ups mid race. I know we go off first thing, but I know someone's watching... just remember to yell beer and I'll have my hand grabbing for it. I actually asked a few times during the Tour de Louisville and there was none to be had... What The Fuck People?! No one (that we hang out with at least) is making rent or mortgage riding this shit, we're in it for the fun - and torture! Break out the beer and stop taking this idiocy so seriously!

the results are in?

so i took a look at the results from the fishermans park race, 2nd stop on the ovcx. i'll start by saying what a cluster. it took them hours to figure out the results of the cat 4's., well the 35+ side of things. why is there always such a problem with the 4's. this being my 3rd year of racing cx i would have hoped that they would have learned that it's always screwed up in the 4's and found a way to fix it. last year after getting fucked at a couple races and getting 2 dnf's i started yelling my #out when i crossed the line. there didn't seem to be as many problems at kings cross, why. why didn't all the 4's start together like at kings cross. i guess it can only get better. i'm pretty sure i didn't get last, actually i know i didn't get last in 35's, oh well. everyone else is pissed too.
