because i have to be pissed about something

just so you hipsters know none of your fly by night companies came up with the belt drive system. i remember spot out of colorado having a belt drive bike some time back. i just got off the phone with a shop owner that was just wanting to vent. so i'm game i took the bait. he has issues with bike shop owners and employees not knowing their shit. what gives he says. so i tell him look man this city has a lot of shops and not enough people to staff then. it just happens. it's not just the bike industry it's everywhere. also last week i received a call from jackie green wanting me to come work for him. i was flattered and declined do to the fact that i work at schellers now. so he goes on to ask what about my other job a t the car dealer. i tell him that it is closing and i was going to be out of work. this jerk weed is happy that the dealer is closing, jobs lost, families in a pinch. he viewed the car dealer as the competition. whaa? i guess i'm missing something or is he.

lots of stuff

i'll start with the car dealership is closing on july 31st. man what bummer. lots of good people will be looking for jobs. i made some really good friends there. i hate goodbyes. so i worked yesterday a schellers and it seems as though i'm a necessary evil for some people. last night we were talkin cx racing. it seems as though one employee wants a cx bike just so he can come out a beat me. it probably has nothing to do with cx being the fastest growing cycling discipline right now. i think he's going to order his bike today. only 50 something days to go. the picture posted is ross. he's a future cx racer and co-worker.

he thinks it will be easy but fun. he has one thing right. do you ever look at any of your bikes and think god that's a good looking bike.

movie/bike shop

at one time my shop on your left cycles was compared to the movie high fidelity. i thought that i understood this comparison. i didn't until last night while riding the trainer. the parallels were astonishing but sometimes this is the things have to be. i can think of times when i didn't sell nor did i want to sell to people. sometimes you just have to tell people what they don't know whether they like it or not. i always had someone working for parts or lunch or something. you know i was just living the dream that's all i wanted and now i just might have the chance to do it again full time. i believe if you didn't want to know you shouldn't have asked and don't waste my time cause i sure as hell won't waste yours.
