hipster
so we're sitting around tonight talking about getting a new laptop. so i tell the wife if we get one i would like to get an apple. so she proceeds to call me a hipster. then she says" why don't you go get some flat front khakis from the gap and while you're at it get some black chuck taylors". to top it all off she says i would also get my walking papers too. i don't know what i was more mad about, the fact that she called me a hipster or that she thinks chuck taylors are weak.

I would be mad about the hipster reference although I'm typing that on my Mac Powerbook. At least it's 5 years old and I owned 2 Macs before that. I hope that keeps me out of the hipster category.
ReplyDeleteshe works (or worked?) at an ad agency for fucks sake! she should know macs rule and are far more dependable and efficient than any windows machine... or linux for that matter. to top it off, chucks are bad ass, as are vans. i don't two shits about who's wearing what - i like what i like so i'm gonna run it. the hipster tag ain't shit - you pulled it on me a couple months back right here.
