keeping up and random
now that i have a better idea of the number of readers i can really post. thanks to all of you that read this. i'm glad but i wish more of you posted. anyway, cx season is right around the corner 33 days to be exact. i really need to get my ass i gear. we are very busy at work and i've been riding a little but a really need to ride more. i've cut beer for the most part and i'm trying to leave the coffee but i just can't. who am i kidding i just want to race for fun. i need to remember that. i can't get caught up in all that serious stuff. i need to just have fun. hell i'm just a big kid so i should have fun. i hope a bunch of you find your way out to the races/parties that are cx. for all of you mountain bikers out there i'm sure you've heard that the sram 2x10 is out. looks very cool and should work great. i know i can't wait to put it on a bike. the 2x10 would make an awesome upgrade to any bike during those long winter months when you're waiting for spring. you know 70's tv shows just have really good music.

2X10, just a gimmick to get you to replace your drive train that works perfect, will almost perfect! Don't they say you shouldn't use the extreme gears now because it causes your chain to wear out faster?
ReplyDeleteryderwoo is that good lookin lee? chris, not a gimmick. honestly how often do you use your small ring. lots of gears cross over as far as gear inches. note: they are very close in gear inches. if it can be lighter, cooler, and just all around bad ass. well you gotta do it. they have always said don't use extreme gears, thats nothing new.
ReplyDeletelee and jimmy you guys are ready to go. i will be adding a contact email so you don't have to post it on the board.

ReplyDeleteI use my small ring on almost every trail out side of Cherokee.
The 36 tooth rear cog is interesting. At the price they want I will let others experiment.
