lance
lance armstrong wins the leadville 100 in record time. this is pretty impressive. he beat the old record by 20 something minutes. i wonder if he will make a stop at cross vegas. could he win. i my opinion lance is on his way to becoming an american sports hero. survived illness, check. was humbled by a loss in his sport after come back, check. played hard for his team, check. gaining respect from people not into sport, check. well i'm still not a fan but it was cool to see him win the leadville over a 6 time champ. i am watching though.

yep...Armstrong is definitely one of the greatest athletes of all time. Thorpe, Ali, J.Owens and Armstrong...
ReplyDeletehe really impressed me with his team riding. i didn't think he would be willing to play a supporting role.
i have a feeling that taking 3rd in the tour has motivated him to come back for another and go for the win.
i think it's kinda crazy too... i mean, he got 3rd!!! he's on the podium and people call that a disappointment..lol...give me 3rd for the TDF any day of the week...just shows what expectation this guy has to live up to.
