lots of bikes are made in these 2 countries. after many years of building bikes from both and i have to say that taiwan does a better job. i know they're are inexpensive bikes but damn china really puts out some crap and it's not just bikes it's everything.
quality control, or lack there of seems to be a big issue on things coming from china
