i don't get it
what good does blowing the horn a stop light do. i'll tell ya. i does nothing if i'm the car you're beeping at. this asshole this morning is laying on the horn at the stop light out off blankenbaker and 64 area. the light turns green and if you don't floor it off the line like some nascar pit stop i guess you're some type of slow ass. well i am. a slow ass that is. i creep off the line only to see this smoker in a mini van pull right in to mcdonalds, figures. she must have need some more artery clog and a cup of swill coffee. i still don't understand why everyone is in such a rush to get to work. i've said this time and time again. someone is always in a rush to get to the one place the wish they weren't. oh well. i'm glad i love my job and most of the people i come in contact with.

Hahaha... I know that light at Blankenbaker south of 64 well - I work off Commonwealth.
ReplyDeleteShe was clearly worried they were going to run out of McGriddles.
My favorites there are people who cross over INTO the merge lane from I-64E before the white line stops. What's the rush?
Sigh...
high stress smokers at mickey d's? thats why I'll always have a job selling stents!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful.
bs
I have honked at people sitting at green lights before. I always count to five before I honk and when I finally do honk it is a short one, but it doesn't matter, I always get flipped off, told to fuck off and called an asshole. I guess I am suppose to just sit at the green light until the person in the car gets done with what ever they are doing besides driving.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I commuted to work on the bike I nearly ran into a car who just sat at a green light. The guy in the car was doing something with his hands in his lap. It was the inersection of baxter and bardstown. I was heading into town on baxter. I had to stop soo quick to keep from hitting him, my chain popped off. It only took seconds to get the chian back on, but it was too late, I cought the red light and had the motorist behind me honking at me becaue they thought was my fault.
