park tool school
well i've gone and done it. i taught a series of classes on how to fix your bike. i haven't taught a true class in may years and i must say i had a blast. we limited this first class to 10 people and i must say we had a little bit of everyone. we had a tri-guy, weekend warrior, a guy who just wanted to fix bikes for wayside and a retired guy who wanted to be able fix his bikes in florida and one woman. what a mix of riders. man i had so much fun maybe even more than my students. i didn't know if i would have the patients for such a venture but i think we all did great. there were lots of question and more hands on fixing and tweaking than i had layed out in my mind. it's funny how changing a flat on the rear is such a mystery. last might this mystery comes into play, as they were doing the final lesson one group has putting the finishing touches on a bike and it had a flat. i thought this should be interesting. man they changed it like old pros. no questions they dropped the wheel out of the bike and changed it. man i was proud. i can't wait til the next class. drew at on your left just can't believe i taught a class. well believe it my man.

Congrats Molnar. Was this a Scheller's deal, or did you venture out on your own? I'm kinda jealous. Wish I could donate something like that to the cycling community. Even if they had to pay... repairing a bike is a valuable skill to teach people. Nice job.
