Family Christmas get togethers

not sure if anyone has had to host your family christmas, but in these days, it's almost impossible to find a day where somebody doesn't have to be somewhere, work or whatever.... i mean...can't people find the time to be with family or am i living in the 1950's where it's important to be with family?
