Thomson and Chris King

There are a few things I learned way back during the Jeff Schwinn years. Chris King and Thomson components are a staple on a mountain bike. Having said this, I decided to put a Nugget Gold Chris King BB in my Titus Racer X. Bling Bling! Its the same color as a Negro Modello Especiale, glistening against a sky blue backdrop, with a dog who's happy to see you licking the sweat and dirt off your legs.<
If anyone needs a new BB, I'll trade you a new XT BB for a six pack of Fat Tire Ranger IPA - 9.49$ at the Keg on 131, Clarksville. Hollar if interested-424-3365

I also put a new Thomson X4 stem on, along with an oversized handlebar. 31.8 Easton Carbon Y'all. I'm also thinking about the new Formula R1 brakes. Anyone got a review on these stoppers.

So now with all these upgrades, my bike sits in the basement waiting for a trip to Brown Cty.

Oh yeah, I raced Long Run this past Saturday. Raced the 1,2,3's and got in a break with some strong dudes from Texas Road House. They also had a guy off the front. They finished 1-2-3, Alfeder Bergen guy got 4th, I got worked over and limped in 5th. Got my 20$ though. 80 more and I can put a King integrated headset in my 29er.

One more thing. I just found out that Mark Shofner lives less than 2 miles away from me now. Great guy! He's the one that got me into mountain biking. I see a lot of riding and beer drinking in the future for us. Come on Summer.

Did I mention I like Chris King components?
