o the shame of it

i was out getting my ride on this morning and what a great ride it was. not to many people out there, pretty awesome to see the WWII planes coming in over the golf course. now for the shame in all of this. i'm up by the fountain and i hear a voice from behind and it goes something like this. molnar you still working on bikes?
yeah why, you need some help.
no, i was just wanting to know why your bike sounds so bad.
i don't hear it, ipod you know.
danm the ipod or damn me.
i knew of these problems a few weeks ago and i should have taken action then. i guess i do it tonight when i install the new parts that should be here today.

  1. Hah the same thing happened to me once. I had just installed a new rear brake and it came loose. It was chattering and jumping all over the place but Slayer jacked up to level 10+ was drowning it out. Finally I passed some guys and they gave my bike the craziest look so I stopped and realized what was up.

  2. You should hear Ian's bike... i think he has an elf trapped in one of his fork legs. I guess we'll take care of it someday.
