There's a certain way bikes generally go together that attention to detail should come into play, regardless of the bike or customer. One of these happens to be lining up the inner tube valve with the logo on the tire. Not only is it visually appealing, but can also come in handy when figuring out where that thorn is in the tire once you've pulled the tube out.
My question is, does Schellers make it standard practice not to do this? I've had three flat repairs in today alone that were last handled by your fine institution.
What the haps bros? Like, for real...
i can only speak for myself and the middletown location, we do put the label and the valve together. when we can the label even goes on the drive side of the bike {some directional tires don't allow this to happen} i think i can even see you smiling while writing this.
ReplyDeletei totally with ya. there are certain ways to do things no matter what.
ReplyDeletesissies,who cares
ReplyDeleteanonymous has his big boy pants on...tool.
ReplyDeleteI've ridden twenty years and never even heard of putting the label and valve together. I feel so stupid! :/
ReplyDeletextr, thats because other people change your flats. still have those wheels.
ReplyDeleteyeah, you got me john. i was really just talking shit. seriously though, drive side is preferable as well like you mentioned and I love how WTB places their logo upside down compared to everyone else. it actually makes more sense for display purposes.
