a day off from the bikes

i'm not riding today as you can tell. there are house duties to do and one bike is in pieces and the other needs some love. so i thought i catch up on some stuff floating around in this head of mine. looks like the short track series is a huge success this season, not one race for me but just maybe this wednesday. if wednesday doesn't happen for me i guess the bank will be full for cross dates. the mrs. is looking for a new bike so i brought home the fisher collection catalog. i ear marked 2 pages with bikes that we need/want for the stable. i think we were on for the transport which is a utility style bike much like the kona ute. the other bike was for her. she wasn't having it. i got home and she tells me she doen't like it but "i really like this one, i don't know what it is but i like it" at this point i should have bought the bike i was thinking about. she likes the superfly. why not we should get 2, i love that bike. these won't be in the stable any time soon i'm sad to say.
