



the helmet has taken on may looks over the years. the start was nothing, just the wind in your hair. then there was the cycling cap also known as a fashion statement theses days for cyclist and non-cyclist. ah, the hair net. not really a helmet more along the lines of a glorified cycling cap with padding. i kinda like it but little to no protection. the biggest jump in helmets came in the early to mid 90's with the introduction of the specialized sub-six pro. weighing in at 6 oz. in the smallest size and had no shell. it was revolutionary. now we come to the modern day helmet lost of vents, light weight, universal fits, and awesome retention systems.
still a fan of the wind in your hair... riding a bike isn't dangerous, cars are.
