Evansville National
Evansville National went down this weekend. For those old school BMXers on here, you remember how fast it was....still is!!! Unfortunately due to the economy, this race just wasn't the same as the 80's and 90's. 99 motos on day 1, 95 on day 2. Does anyone remember when a small national was a moto count of 200?
Nevertheless, the racing was great. Old man pro (Elite Master) had 6 riders. Myself, Scott Moreland, Tome Opincar, Brian Strieby, Matt Silvia, Greg Days. Day 1 ended up, Opincar, Moreland and Me. Day 2, I was Mr. Nice guy and let everyone kill me in turn 1 after holeshotting...I guess I need to start saucing..lol...
Great time! Photo is moto 1 on day 2. Holeshotting the World Champ...

ReplyDeletei went down to Nashville Jimmy....it's insane man. they put this stuff called soil-tac down, to pack it in hard. so it's basically just concrete and i'm not kidding you..i can do at least 35 mph down the first straight e a s i l y.
ReplyDeletenot surprised. that first straight is amazing, it's just too bad the rest of the track was always so mellow.
