Rode Cherokee

rode cherokee for the first time in 5 years. got lost on a few paths, missed a few trail heads but over all, it was a fun. looking forward to a little more MTB this fall...gotta get a new seatpost...mine is a bit short.

there was a little race back on labor day, you all might have heard of it...NBL Grands. got bounced out of elite masters in the semi, but recouped and finished 2nd in 30 and over men. for the year, i finished 6th overall.

big news of the weekend was that Matt Pohlkamp was thinking about moving over to Vet Pro/Elite Masters, along with Javier Columbo, Derek Betcher and probably Robert De Wilde... looks like 2011 will require me to step it even more...

  1. Tommy... my little girl and I watched you take second on that last race. She was thrilled to be out at the track that day. We were watching a friend who races expert (Jake Szybowski). Anyway... nice job man. It was cool to see you out there.

  2. Was headed out to Cherokee but I opted for a ride out at Briar Hill yesterday... good times and technical NATURAL trails!

That Vet class looks to be crazy next year... might cause a few more fast guys to reclass back to my old-guy Expert class.

and Tommy, Snowshoe is a definite for me... I got that Friday off work!

I do plan to try and get to Copenhagen for the worlds and try out the 40-44 class.
