Made the annual trek down to Morristown, TN. for a little BMX racing over Thanksgiving weekend. In the past year, small nationals would struggle to get 100 motos. This is year with the "new" NBL membership system, Morristown pulled in 196 motos on day 1. Being that the ABA Grands were going on the same weekend, that was a pretty decent draw!
I raced the Elite Men open. We had 2 full gates and the racing was pretty good. I made the main scoring a 5th. Not too bad considering the next oldest rider was like 22 or 23... We had a bunch of locals tearing the track up too. The track was pretty straight forward and BJ did a great job of making a track with what very little dirt Morristown gave him to work with.

ReplyDeleteso you pay a membership fee. you choose the level at where you want to compete. it's like a gym membership if you will.
ReplyDeletethen each month, you pay $20 and you can race all you want. no entry fees at the race. you just come and race.
