almost hit

this morning on the way in to work i was almost hit at a 3 way stop. i was already going through and this lady came to her stop and came through. she saw me at the last minute. i threw my hands up in the air and rode on just shaking my head. she came up next to me and i was ready to give it to her. she rolled down her window and said sorry. wow, knock me over with a feather. she said sorry followed by have a good day. wow.

    i had a pretty good commute home last night. seems like peeps are starting to realize im not budging on my line. anyone hear of the speed limit to be imposed on bicyclists?

    I had a similar instance at 3rd Street and Cardinal. I was in the bike lane on 3rd, going straight and she pulled behind me to turn right on Cardinal Blvd. She politely sat behind me despite having room to make the turn. I waived her by me and she had the window rolled down. She said "Oh, I didn't want to scare you" and wished me a good ride. The kid in her back seat liked my bike too! That makes up for every other asshole on the road, knowing there are still people who treat others like real people.
