derby city cup usgp of cyclocross

well this is the weekend. the usgp makes it's second stop of the tour in our city. i know i always say this but if you're not racing get your asses out there and cheer on the locals or boo us. i don't care what you do just show up. i'll be down at rrcc for the whole day on saturday and i'll race sunday morning and work at noon. it looks like the weather is shaping up to be prime for cross. rain tomorrow and friday and a slim chance on saturday. this is very nice for cross. the beer will be flowing early and i have a 2 year old ready to hand up dollars and beer early. we've been practicing the hand off of the dollars. if you see her she will be ready so don't be afraid. the wife will have can beer. i so ready and it's killin me that saturday is so far away.

    course is awesome but there are some damned long straights. there's still prenty of technical, especially if it rains more, but it's a power course no doubt. i am totally in love with the green monster. i wish it were bigger.
