well there is another shop opening in town. this comes through the grape vine. now the info i have comes 2nd and 3rd party so it may not be totally accurate. the shop will be a specialized bike dealer and will be opening in an area already over run by 3 other shops. this should be interesting. i love how just anyone can open a shop, i like bikes and ride maybe i should open a shop. well the best of luck to you, several other shops have started this way and are still around. so it can be done.
I heard of a new shop (new to me anyway) near Cherokee. Only road and track bikes. Have yet to see it, but saw their blog page a month ago. Can Louisville really support so many shops? I know it's a well established biking community, but nothing like other citys or states I have visited. Most of them have more cyclists, fewer shops. It may be one of the worlds great wonders as to how so many shops sustain life here in the 'Ville.
ReplyDeletei'll say it once, i'll say it again...louisville has so many cliches, with each having a leader who probably will claim to know all about bikes and i'm sure has a bone of contention with another certain group of riders or rider. this town is full of it...roadies v. mtbers, cx mtbers v. dh mtbers, dh mtbers v. urban mtbers, bmx racers v. bmx street...it's E V E R Y W H E R E around this little fishbowl.
