what's goin on

when ever i hear those 3 words i just automatically flip to marvin gaye. on that note what the hell is going on with ear- x- tacy. man i bought my first record there and yes i mean record. van halen 1984 man what a badass record. man i remember when they had their store out in middletown spent tons of money there. the store in the highlands is where i used to get all my punk rock tapes to play in my walkman on friday and saturday nights. ah street sessions on bardstown road with vision street wear hip sacks and buzzed hair with bangs. sorry back to the matter at hand. i hear via the idiot box that ear-x-tacy might be on their way out do to a lease and recession deal. if you have any loose change laying around drop it in at the music shop not electronically on the computer. you wouldn't buy your bike parts or beer from strangers would you, so why buy your music that way. what's going on with the mrs. sudden reading of love the pain, man that's bull, then says why don't i have something like the calvin and hobbs post. man.

  2. I heard that news today, I have many memories of ear x-tacy, I remember when Derek and Kevin first started going across the bridge to buy music there, those kids were so stoked. Ear-x-tacy is one of the best music stores in the country. I hope they pull through.

  3. We went to see the Watson Twins perform in store on Tuesday. John Timmons got choked up when thanking them for playing in the store. I have had the pleasure of knowing John and his store has been a foundation for the Louisville music scene. Please do go buy stuff. Steve Jobs doesn't need your money. Buy local.
