Back from Nashvegas. Rained out for Saturday pro spectacular, so they doubled us up for Sunday. Drew some good motos and most of the heavy hitters were there. It was super hot! First straight was freaking ridiculous fast and the rest of the track...eeehhhh. They've changed it from the Murray World Cup days. The track is 4 straights back and fourth. No hip jump, World Cup Whoops are anything like that. Finish line spits you back up towards the trees...
Went out on the town with 3/4 of the Vet Pros. Met up with the Tank and watched him do his "stiff leg" dance. It was hilarious! Nearly pee'd myself.
Score me up with two 5ths for the weekend. Sitting top 10 now in Elite Masters...2 months until the Grands!
Tommy... I'm back @ the shop up in Rockford. 3 of these guys are into BMX in a major way. One guy invited me out to check out what he (and apparently everyone else in the area) call "the vault"... it's his bike collection room. Old PK's, a Robinson from back in the day, a Quadangle, multilple sets of mint Skyways, a few Hutch's worth a small fortune on their own and some cruisers. I'll post up if I actually make it out there.
