you know it's bad

yesterday at the doctors office i looked around the waiting room and noticed that i seemed to be the only person under 50. this doesn't bode well for me seeing how i haven't even reached 40, and i'm sitting in a bone and joint specialist office. this is a double edged sword. this long saga started with a possible torn meniscus and ends with 2 compressed disc, 1 bulging and arthritis in my hips. did i mention i was given a prescription for a cane. getting old is going to be even more painful than my youth. i sound like i'm bitching and i am but i wouldn't change a thing.
